The track was written in 2021 and is your classic breakup stuck in a time warp song where one party has moved on but the other is still clinging to the hope of an unlikely reunion but knows that at some point they must move-on.

“Anxiety” Video

The video for Anxiety is also out and I hope you enjoy that. Like many, i suffer from Anxiety which can be extreme sometimes and has really impacted my life. I’ve tried to convey that in a song so if you haven’t heard it yet, watch the video but the track is already on all platforms.

Other News

The track that was supposed to be next and that was started late last year has been through the washer a few times now and I will have to park that one until I have the energy to resurrect it.

“Superstar” is also in the works as well as my first ever go at a melodic techno track. Plus i have started a demo for a new pop tune. So hopefully one of those tracks will be next off the rank to follow up this remix.

So proud that two of my tracks SORRY and DO THAT FUNKY THING have surpassed 10,000 streams on Spotify. Amazed there are people listening to me in Mexico, Finland and lots of other places too!

A CONVERSATION WITH GREGORY KODRIC

WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO?

I’m always looking for new music to listen to and I really look forward to Release Radar every Friday. One band I discovered through Slaps is Hidden Signal. Really nice dreamy pop and I’ve listened to their debut albums a few times now.

In my car I still listen to my old favourites like Korine, Rupesh Cartel, DM, IRIS and Static Icon. If you know of any new synthpop bands that i need to hear, let me know.

WHERE DO YOUR SONGS COME FROM?

Who knows! I have hundreds in my head and can come up with a tune on command. I just start humming chords until something sounds good and is worth pursuing. Or I come up with a killer title and work the song around that (like “I Don’t Need No One” where I got the hook and just sung it over and over until the rest came.)

Problem is, now I have too many songs in my head and new ones often supersede older ones!

WHAT ARE YOU HOPING TO ACHIEVE?

Not sure… I just believe my music is good enough to be heard so it would be awesome just to have a fan base of followers who are eagerly awaiting my next release. That would inspire me for sure. Money would always be nice but with so much music out there, I’m realistic to know that this is an unlikely possibility.

Music is like water to me, I need it every day and it would be hard to survive without it. I’m always looking for new artists to follow so I will highlight a few here with each newsletter.
