People who lack confidence or self-esteem are often insecure and worried about how people perceive them and how they should interact with the world. They question themselves and everything they do.

But even the most confident and extroverted people are insecure too. They are often overcompensating to cover up what they don’t want others to see.

This track comes at you saying yeah, I am insecure but I acknowledge it and I have to find ways to feel comfortable in my own skin!

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO?

I recently visited Vietnam with my wife and places like this really inspire me and I don’t want to leave! So much energy and life on the streets that is infectious. The chaos is fascinating as you watch people hurrying around doing their daily routines.

Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi have many superb rooftop bars and I was lucky enough to have last track “Hunter” spun at a couple and met some great people along the way.

Definitely worth a visit!

WHERE DO YOUR SONGS COME FROM?

Who knows! I have hundreds in my head and can come up with a tune on command. I just start humming chords until something sounds good and is worth pursuing. Or I come up with a killer title and work the song around that (like “I Don’t Need No One” where I got the hook and just sung it over and over until the rest came.)

Problem is, now I have too many songs in my head and new ones often supersede older ones!

WHAT ARE YOU HOPING TO ACHIEVE?

Not sure… I just believe my music is good enough to be heard so it would be awesome just to have a fan base of followers who are eagerly awaiting my next release. That would inspire me for sure. Money would always be nice but with so much music out there, I’m realistic to know that this is an unlikely possibility.
