Superstar is a harder foot stomping number where I can imagine a live crowd all stomping in unison, wouldn’t that be something?

It’s about falling into a pit of self-pity when the realisation emerges that you think you’re no-one’s Superstar…A seemingly stark offering that simmers on what I would consider an otherwise optimistically upbeat groove!

Glad you asked! The release of Superstar also comes with the last single Insecure and also a slightly different of Hunter entitled “Hunter V2”".

I’ve toned down the kick so you can hear the rhythm and bass better plus a couple of sounds are louder and made the ending a little shorter!

I’ve still to work on that stripped back piano version of Insecure from Leo Jean which I hope to include in the next release now. I really enjoy his work and he is a great guy as well so sorry Leo for the delay!!

I’ve started another pop track which hasn’t progressed too far yet but I also have the pop tune that was started last year but never released and that was “"May Death Kill You”. Been toying with the idea of multiple versions for that one so let’s see if we can get it happening.

Almost at the end of the songs I had demoed from 3 years ago (wow!) so “Makes You Feel” and “Heart” need to be finalised and released as well. Whew….where to find the time…

WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO?

I’m always looking for new music and I downloaded the new album from Mansionair and how good is it??? A killer album from start to finish.

Apart from that I’m checking my release radar weekly and listening to individual songs like “How Deep do we Dive” by Jessmo and Rabbit Hole from Trebot for some fun!

WHO INSPIRES YOU?

The crux of what inspires you is not always a band name or song you liked 20 years ago but it is usually for me a moment in time where you want to just burst out of your skin and create something. This happens maybe after seeing an awesome live gig or perhaps Eurovision or perhaps a song playing in a taxi whilst on holiday or in a rooftop bar somewhere…you just want to head into the studio that instant and finish that tune that was the next big thing…Love those moments.

WHAT ARE YOU HOPING TO ACHIEVE?

Not sure… I just believe my music is good enough to be heard so it would be awesome just to have a fan base of followers who are eagerly awaiting my next release. That would inspire me for sure. Money would always be nice but with so much music out there, I’m realistic to know that this is an unlikely possibility.
